Well, today was the first day back with the kids. Sure sign of old age.....I forgot a few kids' names. In my defense, they were kids that just came to me in December. Anyway, my feet could tell I stood up most of the day. Started figurative language/poetry unit today. On day three of our diet....low carb. It's hard, but neither of us has cheated. My biggest struggle is not drinking cokes. But so far, so good. Really missing Jack today. I got spoiled to seeing him a lot during Christmas break. He called yesterday to see if I was coming over. I said not today....to which he answered, "How about Saturday?" His vocabulary is expanding so much lately. Can't wait to hear what he says everyday. Life just flies by..........
